Optimizing water efficiency and energy productivity in choosing a cropping pattern

چکیده

Abstract In the current century, sustainable production of agricultural products is one main challenges facing humanity. The amount water consumption, energy, and net income as important components sustainability systems special priority importance. This study used linear multi-objective programming models with aim maximizing five indicators cost efficiency (CE), irrigation (IE), energy productivity (EP), (EE), food (FE) to determine cropping pattern small-scale farms cultivated per hectare in year. There are 160 questionnaires classified by random sampling method sectors Inner Mongolia, China. results showed that determining using planning increases compared modeling. Considering conditions limited resources region policies country sector, patterns objective functions maximization IE CE were proposed.
